Ji Hong Performed at Asian Heritage Celebration Event

Ji Hong Tai Chi College was invited to give a tai chi presentation during the Asian Heritage Celebration event on May 26, 2011 at Alexander Mackenzie High School in Richmond Hill.

The Asian Heritage Celebration event was organized by the Catholic Community Services of York Region, which is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, United Way and Share Life. Its purpose is to help people in many languages, regardless of their religious and cultural background, to build a life in Canada.

Asian heritage Appreciation

As a way to give back to the community, and to share our deep Chinese culture with all fellow Canadians, Sifu Bao Sen Liang accepted the invitation.   On May 26, three students of Ji Hong Tai Chi College at Richmond Hill demonstrated to the participants of the Asian Heritage Celebration event the three most popular styles of tai chi: Chen Style by Raymond Ho, Yang Style by Audrey Kwong and Wu Style by Helen Lau.  Their presentation was well received by the audience.  As a sign of appreciation, Bohdanna Bakay, representative of Settlement and Education partnership in York Region, presented to Sifu Bao Sen Liang a certificate of appreciation on June 9, 2011.
